Planning on covering the series and this confusingly under-discussed topic in the coming month or so, would be very interested on your thoughts! Most consider the idea to be Freudian fluff, but I cannot watch the film without seeing it as an exploration and allegory of Michael’s budding homosexuality. Running through a dream with a giant phallic of a man throwing balls at him.
