#94: Evil Dolls, Trolls, Children, and Other Short Villains with Emily Intravia!
Sometimes terrifying things come in small packages! For this week’s Women in Horror Month episode, I have decided to let Emily Intravia, the mastermind behind the Deadly Doll’s House of Horror Nonsense, take over the topic of conversation for the day. Over at her excellent horror blog, she is focusing on Vertically-challenged villains.
So today, that is what we are talking about–horror movies featuring small monsters, dolls, toys, trolls, and small children! We talk about a TON of movies in this one, folks! Even so, I know there are so many more out there, so feel free to contact me with your favorite horror films that feature small antagonists!
By the way, Emily is also a colleague of mine from the Mysterious Order of the Skeleton Suit. Check out the rest of the group here! Enjoy the episode!

Great retro, guys! “What about The Boogens?!!1″ Glad to see The Pit get a mention, such a wonderfully devious film! Cathy’s Curse and The Child will be great additions for the follow-up as well. Broke my heart with the Dont Be Afraid of the Dark hate, loved both the original and remake. I thought both parents made valid efforts to help Sally adjust, and she was too hard headed to warm up to Kim or her father until it was too late. In a real world setting, neither parent would believe that there were actually creatures attacking Sally, so I don’t see them as being bad parents by bringing her back to her room after she falls asleep. Thought the gnomes were just fantastic, spindly versions of the minions in The Gate =D
